ACCOMMODATION:
5 Nights Share Accommodation (option to upgrade to single room)
5 Nights Camping
All room accommodation will have full facilities, some may be in nearby amenity blocks. Room accommodation is basic, think beach shack, donga, motel room etc. Some is quirky, and some a wonderful surprise. There are not a lot of choices in the outback and there is nothing very schmick or shiny about lifestyle in these parts. What we can promise is that each accommodation location is glorious and full of charm and character. Rooms are share, twin, triple, quad or dormitory, some with ensuite.
Don't like sharing! that's ok, you could choose to camp each night instead. Or you can opt for a single supplement own room fee of $500 to secure your own abode, subject to availability.
Camping.Tents - supplied - We supply EACH camper their own tent and air mattress. Tents are spacious and can accommodate up to 2 people with luggage. You can stand up in them. Our tents are easy to assemble (less then 10mins and simple to pack away). Our team is always available to help.
All but one of our campsites has facilities. However, should we get caught out, due to mechanical issues, overstaying at an attraction, road closures etc, we will rough camp where it is convenient. In this case there will be no facilities. This may mean you need to toilet in the bush and either forgo a shower until the following night or have a birdbath/baby wipe cleanse. This rarely happens but it is possible. Sometimes we carry a camping toilet & ensuite tent with us but this is not guaranteed. All sites are unpowered.
FOOD:
- Breakfast and Dinner provided.
- Lunch - not supplied. We will stop each day for lunch in the Roadhouses/Stations. We like to support the local communities by stopping in for lunch. Or you can bring pre-packed lunches/snacks from home.

THE OLD TELEGRAPH TRACK - OTT
follows the original telegraph line through the Peninsula, and for much of the Cape’s history was the only available route.
The OTT is a rough road, 4WD access only and a 4WD enthusiasts' playground. It's only accessible during the dry season. It passes through some beautiful country with several creek and river crossings, and there are several patches of deep sand. Bush camps are set up at most creek crossings.
The OTT is an integral part of this memorable journey providing adventure, tradition and stunning scenery.
*Sky Road Trail only drive 2 small sections of the OTT but man are they FUN & bumpy!
