Behind the Scenes with the Clydesdales of the Victor Harbor Tramway

Get up close and personal with our famous Clydesdales of the Victor Harbor Tramway!

Embark on an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience with the renowned Clydesdales of the Victor Harbor Horse Tram. Explore the rich history of the tram, witness the intricate process of harnessing and saddling a Clydesdale, observe their training in the scenic yard, and meet our cherished Clydesdales. Additionally, enjoy a visit to the new stables nestled in a picturesque bush setting. Complimentary coffee and morning/afternoon tea will also be provided.

​Please ensure you bring appropriate clothing dependent on weather conditions, as part of the experience is outside. Please wear fully enclosed shoes at all times, and ensure you bring hat/sunscreen/sunglasses and if it's cold bring a coat!

If we need to cancel due to extreme weather you will be contacted and offered a rescheduled time. 

Duration of experience bookings are approximately 1 hour - 1.5 hours

* Please note this Behind the Scene Experience is held at the Stables where the Clydesdale horses live which is a short drive from where they work pulling the tram across the causeway from  Victor Harbor to Granite Island.
