Lush, serene views and vast plains await you from the moment you lift off from the heli-pad in the heart of the Hoffnungsthal Valley. From there get ready to kick back and enjoy some of the best sights we have to offer on this fantastic 30-minute flight. First, we will fly you past the charming township of Lyndoch before tracking along the western ridge of the Barossa Valley to Historic Seppeltsfield.

Here you will see stunning vineyards contouring the rolling hills, palm tree studded roads and the Seppelt Family mausoleum, which is certainly a sight to behold.

Descending into Barossa Valley Estate’s stunning garden, designed by Paul Bangay. A short stroll over the beautiful lawns, enjoying a Rose while we walk to the cellar door. Once inside you will be guided through an E & E Black Pepper Shiraz Vertical Tasting, amercing yourself in the older vintages, which one is your favorite? After your tasting, choose your wine, sit back enjoy the views while enjoying a South Australian Produce Platter.

From there you will fly over Maggie Beer’s farm and the famous Penfold’s Winery before veering along the eastern side of Nuriootpa, around the Wolf Blass winery, and then marveling at the view over the large limestone quarry near the town of Angaston. A little further on you will get a bird’s eye view of one of the most beautiful horse racing studs in south Australia.

From Angaston the view is an awesome 180-degree view of the Barossa valley and beyond, you can literally see for miles! As you
descend into the valley towards Tanunda, your pilot will point out some of the historic buildings and settlements like Chateau Tanunda and Bethany. Beyond Tanunda is Rowland flat – home of the famous Jacobs Creek where you will view some of Australia’s largest wine tanks, some of which are up to 1.4 million litres each. From there we take you to the southern end of the Barossa, past Lyndoch, over the Barossa Goldfields and the Whispering Wall (the Barossa reservoir) before finally returning to the Hoffnungsthal Valley.
