Join the Traditional Uluru family on a 4WD adventure to their homelands and learn about the oldest living culture in the world. Hear from the Traditional Owners themselves on how Paddy Uluru fought for Aboriginal Lands rights to where Uluru is today. We want you to enjoy more than just the tourist side of the rock.

Pukulpa ngalya yanama, nganampa ngurakutu... Welcome to our country

Come for the rock, discover the people.

Departing Ayers Rock Resort in the morning, we make our way south of Uluru to the homelands of the Traditional Owners of Uluru called Patji, making various stops along the route to hear and experience how life once was and how it is today. Visit the area where the original Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park gates once stood, impressive rock waterholes and ever changing environments, all the while keeping Uluru in view in the distance as you travel. Enjoy morning tea as you chat at a remote shelter with your Aboriginal host. Travel on remote bush tracks and take in some spectacular views of Uluru, Kata Tjuta and the desert landscape. Finish your morning with a light lunch on a private sand dune overlooking Uluru and Kata Tjuta.

Note: This itinerary can change at late notice due to cultural reasons, weather conditions or other conditions beyond our control.

Aboriginal Hosts are traditional people with strong cultural obligations. When cultural events occur an Aboriginal Host may not be available and this is beyond the control of SEIT Outback Australia.
