Day 1

7.00-7.30am pick up from your Perth CBD hotel.

·      Scenic drive through the seaside town of Mandurah, stopping for coffee and breakfast at Tods Café, overlooking the river. Watch for Mandurah’s famous dolphins.

·      Enjoy a stroll on the historic Busselton Jetty, the longest timber pile jetty in the southern hemisphere stretching 1.8km out into Geographe Bay.

·      Rustico at Hay Shed Hill offers a superb Spanish-inspired degustation and slick service overlooking picturesque rolling vineyards and marri trees. Indulge in a 5-course lunch with reserve wines, and you might be lucky enough to meet the resident wine dog, too.

·      Check into the luxurious Smiths Beach Resort, take a dip in the pool then watch the sun set over one of Western Australia’s most loved beaches.

·      Following such a generous lunch, many guests prefer to skip dinner or opt for a lighter evening meal (at guest’s expense). Onsite options include Lamont’s Smiths Beach a la carte dining and a Gourmet Deli & Wine store with takeaway fish and chips, ready-made chef-prepared meals and International wines.

Day 2

Enjoy an excellent a la carte breakfast at Lamont’s Smiths Beach from 7am. 8.30am pick up for a scenic day visiting the region’s natural wonders as well lunch at one of the hottest – and deservedly so – new restaurants.

·      Marvel at two iconic locations; Surfers Point, the world famous surf break, and River Mouth where the Margaret River meets the sea.

·      Discover the art of fine wine with a tasting at Leeuwin Estate. Gain valuable insight into the history of the Estate, the winemaking philosophy and browse the collection of artworks featured on the Art Series labels.

·      Dine at Frui Momento, awarded New Restaurant of the Year 2023 by The West Australian Good Food Guide, with matching Cherubino wines. Delight in the manicured rose garden and boulevard of jasmine.

·      Drop into the McLeod Family farm where you’ll see Neil’s beloved horses and wild kangaroos in their natural habitat.

·      Put your feet up, take a beach walk or enjoy a cocktail by the pool at Smiths Beach Resort. Evening meal at own expense.

Day 3

Enjoy breakfast at Lamont’s Smiths Beach from 7am. See spectacular Yallingup coast followed by lunch at Margaret River’s founding estate before making our way back to Perth.

·      Gaze in awe at Canal Rocks, Yallingup, where water surges through a narrow gap in 600-million-year-old granite rock formations. Stroll across the wooden bridge for a closer look.

·      Vasse Felix is the ultimate Margaret River wine experience; exquisite service, fascinating history and superb food and wine. First delve into the Estate’s history and folklore with a private tour of the region’s original vineyard, planted in 1967, followed by a tutored tasting of their wines. Then relax in the stylish upstairs restaurant, enjoying an exquisite lunch overlooking the vines.

·      Drop off at your Perth hotel approximately 5.30pm
