Greenhill Wines is a vineyard, cellar door and café. The beautiful landscape is reflected in the wine, food and strong community. Grapes for our wines are all sourced within 2.5km of the winery, all hand-picked and fermented with selected or vineyard yeasts. Our high altitude cool climate vineyards allow harvest of balanced grapes minimising wine making interventions. Our sparkling wines are made using the traditional bottle fermented method.

Casa Freschi
David Freschi is a quality-obsessed, innovative vigneron producing single-vineyard wines from Ashton, Adelaide Hills, and Langhorne Creek. All wines are grown in harmony with nature protected with organic fungicides. The vineyards are hand pruned, hand harvested and managed organically. Minimal tillage and handling, gravity racked and produced without fining, filtration or additives, except for a small addition of sulphur dioxide at bottling.

Cherry Bomb Café
Cherry Bomb Café is a rustic bakery set inside a converted 1870s stone house with an enormous wood-fired scotch oven used to bake sourdough bread, pies, pasties, sausage rolls and other traditional bakery fare. Warming soups, toasties, sweet nibbles, pies and cakes all made where possible with locally sourced produce, alongside coffee that’s roasted down the road. The rooms are cosy, eclectic and filled with flowers, books and velvet couches.

Whether you're just passing through for a quick glass, or want to stay a bit longer and make an afternoon of it, this recently opened cellar door is ready to welcome you inside. On the drinks menu, highlights include 2021 Blanc de Blanc, Methode Traditional, 36 months on lees; Solera-style vermouth made with Gewürztraminer, Muscat, and Riesling; and an Austrian-style harvest spritz made with Gruner, Veltliner, elderflower, and soda. Their kitchen prioritises high-quality, locally sourced produce from the Adelaide Hills and surrounding regions. The menu presents toasties with wild rabbit, goat, and venison, Danish-inspired open sandwiches, and Section 28 cheeses, including the raw milk, semi-hard Monte Chavel washed in pinot lees.

Wotton Family Wines, and in Summer months delicious Cherries
For over 150 years, over six generations, the Wotton family have worked productive, rolling farm land at Uraidla in the Adelaide Hill’s picturesque Piccadilly Valley. Their farm gate sales of 23 varieties of mouth- watering cherries that ripen over a 6-8 week period have been a favourite of the district. In 1994, the first wine grapes were planted in fertile soils previously used for fruit growing and market gardening. Since this time, the Wotton family have dedicated their focus on producing the highest quality cherries and wine grapes.
