The 7 Day Dial in Derby Mountain Biking Package is open for solo travelers and groups coming to Tassie to experience our world class trails.  The tour starts every Friday with pick up from the Launceston Airport and finishes the next Saturday with drop off at Launceston Airport.  
There are no minimum numbers required for these tours so you can book with confidence knowing that your Mountain Biking dreams will be discovered.

Itinerary


Friday - Arrival and Transfer to Derby

Arrive in Launceston before 4pm and board your shuttle for transport to Derby.  We do also offer Launceston City pick up if you plan to arrive before Friday.  We have enclosed luggage trailers for safe and secure bike transport.


Saturday - Unlimited Black Stump Shuttles in Derby

You're hitting the trails straight up.  Our Black Stump Shuttles will give you access to the world-famous mountain bike trails such as Kummagutza, Air Ya Garn, Detonate, Flickity Sticks and so many more!  We will have multiple buses running up the hill all day so you can maximise your riding time.  Ease into the trip with some greens and blues or send it in to some Black Trails.


Sunday - Blue Tier and Atlas

The original adventure trail that started it all!

Blue Tier and Atlas is an iconic 38 km trail that sends you deep into the Blue Tier rainforest where you’ll climb and flow through ancient moss-covered terrain before finishing on the world-famous Big Chook gravity descent, delivering you to the Historic Weldborough Pub.

After a delicious lunch and a local beer, we’ll shuttle you to the Atlas trail that weaves between giant boulders and deep gullies before a thrilling descent delivers you to the outskirts of the Blue Derby trail network. From here you can choose to descend back to the town of Derby via Trouty, Krushkas, Black Dragon, Cuddles or Dam Busters.


Monday - Unlimited Black Stump Shuttles

Tuesday - Unlimited Black Stump Shuttles and Lake Derby Floating Sauna

Send it again with more unlimited Black Stump Shuttles followed by the Lake Derby Floating Sauna - take in the beauty of nature and the mountain air by relaxing in the woodfired sauna floating on Lake Derby.  Take the plunge in the lake for that refreshing feeling and recover from another amazing day.


Wednesday - Blue Tier to Bay of Fires

The Bay of Fires is an unmissable point to point adventure ride that transports you from the dense rainforest of the Blue Tier to the crystal clear beaches of the Bay of Fires on the east coast of Tasmania.

This 42 km trail undulates through a wide variety of terrain, beginning with the ultimate flow fondly named the first 13 km. The trail will then lead you out of the dense forest into the open coastal heathland for epic views of the Bay of Fires. You will then finish the day with another fast and poppy descent all the way to the water’s edge.

Enjoy Swimcart beach at the Bay of Fires and then we'll transport you back to Derby


Thursday - Airport Transfer to arrive at Launceston Airport 

Pack your bags, you're done.  We'll pick you up from your Accommodation and transport you to the Launceston Airport.

Our Airport Shuttle departs Derby at 9am and 2.30pm on Thursdays


Add Accommodation - 6 nights in Derby from $720 (subject to availability)

You are welcome to organise your own accommodation or contact us and we will organise accommodation to suit your needs.

Food is not included in this package.  We will stop at Woolworths on the way to Derby for Groceries.
