OYSTER FARM LUNCH WITH SHUCKING LESSON AND FARMING STORY

We will be seated at our waterfront shell garden overlooking our oyster farm in the Swan River.  Our oyster specialist will show you how to open an oyster (shuck) and chat to you about how we grow the oyster. Then you will enjoy a seafood lunch harvested directly from our farm to your plate. 


The menu for lunch for each adult will be:

6 Melshell Oysters

Harvested from our farm in Great Oyster Bay these 2 year old oysters are presented shucked in their natural liquor with lemon wedges.

6 Melshell Mussels 

Steamed with local white wine these darlings are from our farm and served with orange and our own sweet chilli sauce.

Pickled Octopus

Steamed and pickled in a sweet vinegarette served with a simple salad.

1 Seafood Skewer (no choice either a prawn or oyster or scallop skewer will be given description of each skewer follows) 

Prawn Skewers

Skewers threaded with raw prawn, capsicum and red onion. Serve with our own sweet chilli sauce (provided)

Oyster and Bacon Skewers 

Skewers threaded with natural oysters and streaky bacon. Serve with our own Worcestershire sauce (provided)

Scallop and bacon Skewers (when in season) 

Skewers threaded with raw scallops and streaky bacon. Serve with our own sweet chilli sauce (provided)

A glass of  local wine of their choice

The menu for lunch for each child will be:

Toasted cheese sandwich

Glass of Juice

Orange slices
