The Great Ocean Walk, is a coastal walk through the Great Otway National Park between Apollo Bay and the Twelve Apostles. The vast skies and the wild beauty of this walk will astound and delight you! Discover the region’s diversity of plants, animals and scenery as you walk through tall forests, coastal heathland, beside wild sandy shores and along windswept cliff-tops to be presented with amazing views and wildlife. In the Eucalypt forests Koalas can be spotted along with an abundance of birds such as Ground Thrushes, Yellow Robins, Rufous Fantails and Superb Fairy Wrens. From beaches and cliff-tops watch for sea birds and whales migrating between June and October. Also, Australian Fur Seals can be observed off-shore at Marengo.
