Let's celebrate Xmas and Summer early before it gets silly!

Pre Silly Season friendly Fraser Island exploration Xmas Party. Every year Patrick puts on a great Family/Friends/Meetup camping trip to Fraser Island. This time we've decided let's celebrate Xmas at the same time.  So we invite you to join Sky Road Trail's Island Xmas Party.

4 Days & 3 Nights.

We will chauffer you around in our 4WD's or you can tag-a-long in your own 4WD


TRANSFERS: 

We'll pick you up and drop you back to the following locations:

Robina Train Station - Gold Coast - Departure 6am

Helensvale Train Station - Gold Coast - Departure is 6.30am.

Park Road Station - Brisbane - Departure 7.20am

Toombul Train Station - Brisbane - Departure 7.45am

Caboolture BP - Brisbane - Departure 9am.

Sunshine Coast - Departure 10am

TAG-A-LONG:  Meet you at Inskip Point at 1pm.


FOOD:

We supply:

3 x Cooked Breakfasts

3 x Cooked Dinners (1 = Xmas Dinner)

Water

Coffee/Tea/Hot Chocolate & Biscuits

We stop at the shops each day for Lunch where you can purchase your own lunch and snacks.

We will have a campfire in the evenings. Bring the marshmallows!


We always have a great Aussie time on Fraser Island enjoying the things we love, like swimming in crystal clear waters, having a few drinks, roasting food on the BBQ and visiting major attractions on the island. 

If you like fishing there is also ample opportunity to get some surf fishing in also when everyone has free time.


WHAT WILL WE DO:

We will visit world famous attractions such as Lake McKenzie, Lake Waddy, Eli Creek, Maheno Ship Wreck and the Champagne Pools plus more. 

Hiking: If you would like to hike the island we can bring you to and from your starting points each day and camp with us each night.

Christmas Party - Fun, Food & Games.


CAMPING:

We camp near the beach. There are amenities close by. Toilets and showers.

We supply your tents.  Our tents are spacious and assigned per person, though they are large enough to accommodate two people with luggage, so you may share if you wish.

With your tent we supply a single blow up mattress and a light/fan.

You will need to bring your sleeping bag, sheets & pillow. (You can bring your own blow up mattress/mat with prior approval).


Your payment covers
4WD Vehicle Hire and fuel
Allows us to tour major attractions on the island by 4WD such as Eli Creek, Lake McKenzie, Lake Waddy, Champagne Pools.
3 Nights camping + permit
3 breakfasts, 3 dinners (no lunches included)
Tea, Coffee Sachets and Hot Chocolate supplied.

Pick up at your nominated Transfer Point

Arrive at Inskip Point 1pm

Set up Camp by 3pm

Lunch stop at Bakery or Island Shop

Day 3 - (Monday)

No breakfast supplied on the first morning while travelling but we will stop at a few food options along the way. Please bring snacks for lunch but we also stop at a shop each day if you need to buy supplies including ice.

We cook up great meals, healthy and gluten free options as well. We cater for vegetarians and vegan diets. Just let us know.

BYO drinks except bottled spring water which is supplied all weekend. 

A typical day if you are not fishing, hiking or relaxing at the camp site involves visiting and/or swimming in the lakes and streams and ponds on the island and 4WDriving. We will be throwing in some Xmas Party Food and Games.


Fraser Island is one of the best eco experiences in Australia and certainly known around the world as well.
