Your Island over night getaway begins from the Gold Coasts International airport departing at 10:30am.
Day 1
Escape the city in style and surprise your loved one with a 30min scenic flight past the city skyline, then across the beautiful turquoise waters of Moreton bay marine park, spotting all the local marine life en-route to the island oasis that is North Stradbroke (Minjerribah).
Arriving at the island airport, you’ll disembark to travel 10mins by car to the new Straddie Brewery rooftop terrace restaurant & bar. You’ll be shown to your rooftop villa accommodation for the evening where you can freshen up, kick back to enjoy the views and island vibes over a beautiful lunch and local in-house craft Island brews, located just 20mts from your villa door at the brewery restaurant & bar.

After lunch grab the swimmers and towels, you’ll be be driven to the beautiful North Gorge at Point Lookout to walk around the stunning cliff top boardwalk. This is Queensland’s most Easterly point, so you’ll have a good chance of spotting humpback whales (late May early Nov), dolphins, turtles, manta rays, sharks & schools of large fish. The walk conveniently ends opposite the islands best Gelato shop, just in time for an afternoon treat to enjoy together while sitting on the cliff top over looking the pristine turquoise water below. Enjoy a short stroll down to the white sand and crystal waters of flinders beach for an afternoon ocean swim.
From Point Lookout you’ll head back to your Island villa, enjoy a lazy cocktail or craft beer while watching the setting sun either from your private balcony or mingle at the brewery's rooftop bar. When ready for dinner, simply stroll from your vila to order at the bar, dine in-room or enjoy the sunset on the restaurant terrace.
Day 2
Rise at your leisure, and take a short stroll down to the Main Street of Dunwich township for a cafe breakfast. Then take a stroll along the Dunwich foreshore overlooking Moreton Bay.
Upon your 10:30am Checkout your Pilot will be waiting at the Brewery to collect you for your Scenic flight home to land at the Gold Coast 12pm.
It’ll be an Island overnight escape you & your loved one will never forget!
